How it works – in four steps to a digital archive

Our service is deliberately built so that you never have to come by: everything runs via ordering, post and email. At every step – from ordering to download – we keep you informed by email.

  1. Order online

You place your order in just a few minutes: what should be scanned, in what quantity, with which options? The price calculator shows you the guide price as you go. After submitting, you immediately receive an order confirmation by email – with your order number, our submission address and a compact packaging guide.

  2. Send in the originals

You pack your plans or folders (tips below) and hand the consignment to Swiss Post or a courier of your choice. Note the order number clearly on or inside the consignment. As soon as your originals reach us, we confirm receipt of goods by email and check the quantity and condition.

  3. We scan and check

Your originals are prepared (for files: staples removed), scanned and then quality-checked sheet by sheet: completeness, legibility, alignment, correct naming. If the actual quantity differs substantially from your order, we consult you before any costs are incurred. We confirm the processing timeframe after receipt of goods.

  4. Receive the download – originals returned

You receive the download link to your files by email. We return your originals insured and carefully packaged – or, at your request, destroy them professionally and confidentially. The invoice follows separately with a 30-day payment term.

Packing plans and folders safely

Ninety per cent of transport safety comes down to the packaging. With these rules your consignment arrives with us reliably and undamaged:

  • Rolled plans: in a sturdy cardboard tube with firmly closed end caps. Roll with the drawing facing outwards and not too tightly – this makes flattening before scanning easier.
  • Folded plans: in a padded B4 envelope or between two cardboard sheets. Folded plans are perfectly fine for scanning; existing fold lines largely disappear in the digitised copy.
  • Folders and files: pack upright and without gaps into a sturdy box, fill cavities with paper so that nothing shifts. Maximum around 20 kg per parcel.
  • Fragile originals: individually in tissue paper or a clear sleeve, with a "fragile" note in the parcel – we then handle them separately by hand.
  • Always: post as a tracked parcel and enclose the order number. For valuable holdings, shipping with additional insurance is advisable.

For very large holdings – several moving boxes or entire plan cabinets – we arrange acourier collection at your location on request.

Security and confidentiality

Your documents are handled at our premises exclusively by the scanning team involved; the rooms are access-controlled. The originals are returned insured and with tracking. We keep your scan data as a backup for a further30 days after delivery – after which it is irrevocably deleted from all systems. On request we sign a confidentiality agreement before the assignment begins and confirm the deletion in writing.

The first step takes two minutes.
